Districts

Tres Cantos

The youngest of the Madrid Region’s 179 municipalities, Tres Cantos is one of Spain’s fastest-growing cities and in 2010 it was named a Science and Innovation City by the Spanish Ministry. Nowadays, the city is home to 3,000-plus companies, 800 of which are international. With a population of approximately 50,000 inhabitants, the city’s companies generate 36,500 employment opportunities.

It is home to some of the most important bio tech, air industry and innovation companies and labs in Spain.

Fuencarral

Superbly located next to the M-30 ring road, within the heart of the city and with excellent connections to the main business and educational centres. The district is currently undergoing a transformation to make it the region’s premier innovation hub, based on its proximity to health facilities, brand new research centres and its location right next to Chamartin train station provides unbeatable connections to all the country’s cities. There is also a direct access to Madrid airport, facilitating international connections.

The district is getting a facelift, with some of Madrid’s major building projects: the Metrovacesa-led Clesa factory redevelopment project, the AXA-led KADANS development project, the brand new IE University Tower with 6k students, Wyndwood Project by MiCampus and the two largest hospitals in Madrid, Ramon y Cajal and La Paz.
